BritHR on your PC and phone

Use BritHR in its own window on Windows - with live fingerprint sync on the office PC - and as an app on every Android phone. Same login, same data.

BritHR in its own window, stays signed in. On the office PC it also sends every fingerprint punch live and shows the device clock.

How to install

  1. Unzip it: right-click the downloaded zip → Extract All → Extract. Do not run it from inside the zip.
  2. Open the extracted folder and double-click BritHR.exe.
  3. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway (one time only). This appears because the app is new, not because anything is wrong.
  4. Sign in and tick Keep me signed in. To start it with Windows: in the app, Device → Device connection & clock → Start BritHR when Windows starts.
  5. If it asks for Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime, click Yes, install it (free, from Microsoft) and open BritHR again.

For the office PC connected to the fingerprint device, download the app from Fingerprint devices inside BritHR — that copy includes your device settings.

Android app

Android 7.0 and newer

Full-screen app for employees and managers: attendance, leave and requests with the + button, approvals, payslips, notices and uploads from the camera.

Installed — open BritHR from your home screen.
Install from this website — recommended, no warnings
  1. Open this page on your Android phone in Chrome.
  2. Tap Install app above — or Chrome's menu ⋮ → Install app (or Add to Home screen → Install).
  3. Tap Install. BritHR appears on your home screen and opens full screen like any app. Updates arrive by themselves.

iPhone: open BritHR in Safari, tap Share → Add to Home Screen. It then opens full screen like an app.
